The San Antonio Express-News and UTSA are joining together to host a series of town hall discussions on important issues of the day.
The first event, a panel discussion on school choice and vouchers, will be 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28 in the Buena Vista Street Building Aula Canaria (1.328) at the UTSA Downtown Campus.
The panel discussion is free and open to the public; parking will be available in lot D3. To reserve a seat, email email@example.com.
The panel will include Allan Parker, president of The Justice Foundation; former state Rep. Kent Grusendorf, former chairman of the House Education Committee; Shelley Potter, president of the San Antonio Alliance of Teachers and Support Personnel; and John Folks, former superintendent of the Northside ISD and UTSA faculty member in the College of Education and Human Development. San Antonio Express-News columnist Gilbert Garcia will moderate the discussion.
